Originating over 150 years ago, the Gluggle Jug is a novelty British tableware accessory with a rich history. The Gluggle Jug, shaped in the style of a koi fish with a mouth-shaped pourer, gets its name from the ‘glugging’ sound it makes when poured at two-thirds full – it’s the result of an air lock created in the fishtail which bubbles out.
